HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

It's the second straight day with a major college football commitment. Four-star quarterback Cooper Bateman announced for Alabama on Wednesday, coming on the heels of five-star running back Ty Isaac's commitment to USC on Tuesday.

Speaking of Alabama, Andrew Bone takes a spin through the state to update some of the hottest prospects.

And now a slew of committed prospects who are keeping their options open, starting with Texas A&M's five-star wide receiver commit Derek Griffin, who still plans to make a couple visits and gives us an update on the possibility of playing two sports in college.

Another five-star -- running back Derrick Henry -- committed to Georgia last July but is now entertaining other possibilities.

Then there's four-star defensive lineman Maquedius Bain, who has committed to Florida State but says seven schools are still in the mix.

Four-star linebacker Daniel McMillan is in a similar boat.

And three-star linebacker Doug Randolph is a Stanford commit but is still talking to Notre Dame.

Da'Shawn Hand is being touted as the top recruit of 2014. The soon-to-be five-star player has 30 offers already.
