Okonkwo took an unofficial visit to Boise State in April.
"I definitely could see myself playing for them," he said. "What I liked was how the players said the coaches focus on the student as a person. They have that family atmosphere.”
Outside the football field, Okonkwo likes what Boise State has to offer academically. “They have a new business building going up, and I’m trying to major in business,” he said.
