Coach Will Muschamp of the University of Florida...
On his program at UF:
"It's never going to be Will Muschamp's program; it's going to be Florida's program. I'm very pleased in the direction we're headed. We didn't get the results we wanted on the football field, but we got the results we wanted in the weight room, in the classroom and in recruiting."
On year two as a head coach:
"I'm more comfortable. Going into last season, I had some serious reservations about our roster. I feel more comfortable in what to expect on the day to day basis in my position as the head coach of the University of Florida."
On new additions to the SEC:
"Missouri is a team that I coached against when I was at Texas and they do a great job on offense. They spread the field and create mismatch issues. I have great respect for Gary Pinkel. There will be some adjustments. Both offenses [at Missouri and Texas A&M] are drastically different from what we see in our league, and our defenses will have to adjust to them, too."
On keeping LSU on the regular season schedule:
"I think the Florida-LSU game is a great national game for our league. Since 2003, there's 3 national championships for our schools and LSU played for another one last year. These are successful programs. I enjoy the competition. Les Miles does a fantastic job and I'm looking forward to playing them."
On Coach Steve Spurrier's legacy at UF:
"He really changed this league. The job he did at Florida really amazed me. He did a phenomenal job in his 12 years at Florida. He won a national championship in 1996 and 6 SEC titles. He's got a statue at our stadium, so he's done an outstanding job as a player and a coach. He's also done a fantastic job at South Carolina."
On Spurrier reaching 200 wins as a head coach:
"Well, I'm 193 away."
