Kansas will continue fine tuning things and mixing and matching, when they host Washburn, Monday night at Allen Fieldhouse.

Tonight will mark the final exhibition for the Jayhawks, before beginning regular season, Friday night when they host Southeast Missouri State in The Opening round of the CBE classic.

Kansas opened up exhibition play by defeating Emporia State 88-54 last Tuesday.

The Jayhawks went on a 19-1 run midway through the first half to pull away. Freshman forward Perry Ellis led the team with 15 points and collected seven rebounds, which trailed only freshman forward Landen Lucas' team high of nine boards. Senior Elijah Johnson scored 12 points and had five assists, while redshirt freshman Ben McLemore chipped in 11 points and six rebounds.

Washburn is 0-2 in exhibition play with an 81-61 loss at Kansas State on October 30th and an 83-66 loss at Oklahoma, November 2nd.

The Ichabods had a great season last year, going 25-8, with a 15-5 record in the MIAA. They also won the MIAA Tournament and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament.
