Florida safety to visit Washington State

Tallahassee Lincoln safety Jamerson Blount says he will visit Washington State after the state playoffs are over.

When you are as talented as Tallahassee Lincoln there's bound to be some recruits that fall under the radar. One such prospect is safety Jamerson Blount. Blount is 6-foot-2 and 175-pounds.

"Washington State has offered me and I will visit them after the season," Blount said. "I have also been offered by Florida International and I think Appalachian State and Middle Tennessee State. I will set up everything after the season.

Blount is an active player in the Trojan secondary. He shows good range from the safety spot and is around the ball a lot. On Thursday they were upset by Tallahassee Godby.

"We just have to learn from our mistakes and bounce back from it," Blount said. "It's the playoffs now so a few season will begin for us."
