JuMichael called Georgia Tech receivers coach Al "Buzz" Preston Friday night to let him know that he was committing to Tech. "He said he was very excited to get a recruit like me on the team." Coach Preston is looking forward to working with Ramos to improve his receiver skills.
The decision to commit to Georgia Tech was a common sense one for JuMichael. "I already knew that I liked Georgia Tech a lot and I wanted to make sure I had a spot on the team." Ramos feels that getting to play with his Lovejoy teammate, running back Travis Custis, will be an added bonus.
At the time of the interview, Ramos had not let the Tech coaches know of his intentions to take those visits. SO, how firm is JuMichael's commit to Georgia Tech. "I'd have to say it is around 90%."
Ramos and his Lovejoy teammates are now preparing for the Georgia State playoffs. "We open with Tri-Cities." Tri-Cities features offensive linemen and Georgia Tech commits Shamire DeVine and Jeremi Hall.
