"I am not looking around anymore. I was looking around a little back in the spring and part of the summer, but I am 100-percent Florida State now," Tyrell Lyons told Scout.
"I still get a ton of mail and I do not even read it. I may look and see who it is from and all that, but that is about it. Florida State is the right school for me."
The 6-foot-2, 225 pound senior out of Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast played in the defensive backfield in 2011, but he expects to play closer to the ball in Tallahassee.
"I think I can go in and play a lot at the 'SAM' (strongside linebacker) position. I played safety last year, so I know how to cover, I have gotten a lot stronger, and they don't have a lot of depth there. I think I will fit in very well there."
This FSU commitment has attended a couple of games this season and he plans to be back in two weeks when they play Florida.
He really liked the attention he gets around Doak Campbell Stadium.
"Every time I go there, they show me a lot of love and the fans are great. The fans talk to me, the coaches are great, and I am very excited about going there."
