Hendrix Lands Illinois Offer

O'Fallon (Ill.) junior defensive end Dewayne Hendrix picks up an in-state offer as his first one.

Illinois offered an in-state junior with great upside today in O'Fallon defensive end Dewayne Hendrix. Panthers head coach Brandon Joggerst reported the offer to his 6'5, 240-lb prospect.

"He has great speed and is tremendously athletic and physical," Joggerst said. "He has a huge wingspan and will get bigger. He is great in the weight room."

The Illini have one of his teammates, cornerback Darius Mosely committed in the 2013 class. We will have more on Hendrix coming up.
