IU: Joe Murgo's Weather Report

WTAJ's chief meteorologist gives the lowdown on what to expect weather-wise for Saturday's game between Penn State and Indiana at Beaver Stadium.

Normally we get nervous about the weather for games later in November, but this time around, we have nothing to fear when Penn State takes on Indiana at Beaver Stadium Saturday.

An area of high pressure located to our north will dominate our weather and give us a sunny to partly cloudy sky. Despite the sunshine, it will still be a cool day. Temperatures will start in the 30s but should rise to near 50 by the noon kickoff.

With a low sun, there will probably be a lot of shadows in the stadium, so I would bring a medium jacket. But it could be a lot colder this time of the year so we shouldn't complain.

One thing that you may forget is sunscreen, but don't. Even though it is cool, the sun for a noon game is still strong enough to give a sunburn and cause damage to your skin.

There should not be too much wind, and with sunshine and a few clouds, the weather should be good for the postgame tailgates with the mercury dropping back into the 40s.
