Bad Draw?

The Dutchtown Griffins have produced several major college football prospects over the past few years, but playoff wins have been tough to come by. Last week Shelby Christy snared a 51 yard touchdown pass to give the Griffins some breathing room as they won their first round game over St. Amant 20-10. Dutchtown's reward? #1 ranked Rummel in round two.

"I have watched a lot of tape of them and they have a lot of size.

"We're working hard and we're getting ready to go play."

Christy, a Mississippi State commitment, played in front of Bulldog aid and recruiting coach Greg Knox last Friday night.

"We talk a lot about routes and things like that. I feel like me and Coach Brew already have a good bond.

"We just have a connection.

"I am real happy with my decision and I am looking forward to getting up there."
