Taylor getting close to offers
Taywan Taylor has been one of Kentucky's most explosive players this season for Pleasure Ridge Park. They have dominated the competition and through only five games, Taylor had 13 touchdowns. At this point, Taylor has helped his team to a 12-0 record and is hearing from a number of schools. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver has been hearing from several schools, including Louisville, Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. But most recently a couple of new schools have stepped up their interest. "Recruiting is going good," said Taylor. "Purdue and Colorado State are after me now, so that made my decision tougher," he said. Neither school has offered him a scholarship yet, but they are very interested and they want him on campus. "I'm still in talks about a scholarship. Colorado State called me last night and said they are coming down in two weeks to see me. They want me down for an official visit. Purdue invited me up for a visit too," he said. Taylor believes that the offers are this close at this point. "I'm thinking they might be close to pulling the trigger, but everything is going good," Taylor finished. The senior and his team compete tonight for the 6-A regional championship.
