Wilsonville (Ore.) athlete Johnny Ragin III (6-3, 215), got a chance to take his first official visit this past weekend, taking a trip to Colorado.

"It was awesome, I had a great time," said Ragin.

Ragin was hosted by Marques Mosley and Sean Irwin and met with several of the Buff coaches.

"I got to talk with Coach (Kanavis) McGhee, Coach (Brian) Cabral and Coach (Jon) Embree," said Ragin.

Ragin knows the season has been a tough one for the Buffs, but he's optimistic things will return to the success the Buffs have previously enjoyed.

"I think they'll definitely be on the uprise," said Ragin.

Ragin said he enjoyed everything about the Colorado campus as well as Boulder.

"What stood out the most was the overall atmosphere of the university and the program," said Ragin. "It has a great feel to it. And they're renovating their facilities so they'll be even better."

Ragin has another visit coming next month, to Cal.

"I'm going to Cal on December 7th and I believe they'll offer me on that trip," said Ragin.
