"It was a rocky first half, we knew they were going to come out like that," said Pelluer. "They did a great job executing in the first half and we did not. All the credit to them, they had an amazing season and were a great team. We simplified things and it started working for us."
This was just Pelluer's second game back after missing nearly a month with a shoulder injury.
"It felt good, I played last week but I was out the four games before last week," said Pelluer. "Our preparation is unparalleled. The scout team gives us a ton of reps and it helps me with my reads."
The 6'2" 225lbs prospect talked about where things stand with Washington State and if he is bothered at all by some of the news and rumors around the team.
"Other schools have respected my commitment, I am 100% a Coug," said Pelluer. "Even with all that crap going on, it doesn't matter, it doesn't faze me at all."
Pelluer hasn't set his official visit to Pullman, but knows it will be sometime after the season.
"I went over for the Colorado game and the ending wasn't what I wanted, but still had a good time," said Pelluer. "I got a good feel from the players and the campus in general."
"I was also able to go over this summer for junior day and for a scrimmage," said Pelluer. "So I have gotten over a bunch of times. The last time I was there I hung out with River Cracraft, another commit, so that was good."
