OT Christian Taylor Profile
The White Knoll [Lexington] High School junior stopped in Tigertown for the Maryland game and again this past weekend for the N.C. State game.
"It was good. They were very nice and took care of me while I was up there, because I have a broken foot and a cast on my foot," Taylor told CUTigers shortly after his trip for the Maryland game. "But it was good. They played hard. I loved that the defense got to score a touchdown."
Taylor played "about four or five weeks" with a cracked bone in his foot before the injury took a turn for the worse.
"Finally, [three] weeks ago, on Tuesday, the bone completely broke in half," he said.
Clemson isn't the only school Taylor's seen this season. South Carolina, Georgia Tech and N.C. State have also hosted him.
The trips to Clemson are always good experiences for the 6-foot-5, 330-pound offensive tackle prospect.
"I just like being up there around those guys and going into the locker room after the game, watching coach [Dabo] Swinney dance around after telling his boys how well they did," Taylor said.
As a sophomore, he finished with 41 pancake blocks and gave up 0 sacks.
N.C. State and Coastal Carolina have offered.
