WR Ryan Jenkins Profile
The three-star prospects, who is ranked as the No. 65 player wide receiver in the class of 2013, helped host the three highly recruited defensive linemen who were also on campus for the game.
"[Saturday night], the atmosphere was real electric. I was hanging out with my friends up there, like Carl Lawson, Ebenezer Ogundeko was there, and Montravius [Adams]," Jenkins told CUTigers on Sunday. "It was cool chillin' with those guys and watching the game with them."
Jenkins put on his best recruiting hat for the night.
"Definitely, the whole game, I'm talking to them, telling them they could get onto the field and play," he said.
Just how much Jenkins is able to play as a freshman at Clemson is up in the air.
"I'm going to go into fall camp and do the best I can, just see what happens," Jenkins said.
He added, "I'm going to work my butt off this offseason to get bigger, faster and stronger. I'm not playing any other sports. I'm just focused on Clemson.
"That's going to be all my focus, Clemson, just preparing for Clemson."
Jenkins looks forward to being a part of Chad Morris' hurry-up, no-huddle offense.
"It's definitely exciting, getting the tempo and how they move the ball downfield," Jenkins said. "I know they struggled a little bit [against South Carolina]. I think they'll continue to get better."
Jenkins, who played his senior season at Lassiter High School, finished the year with seven touchdown catches. He missed three games to injuries.
