Recruiting Rumor Mill: Gilman

Recruiting Rumor Mill: Gilman (MD) prospect update.

Virginia will visit Gilman tomorrow to check up on linebacker commit Micah Kiser after a rumor circulated on the internet Micah will be taking a visit to Maryland. After UVa's dissapointing season, numerous coaching staffs have been reaching out to him to gauge his interest. He is open to looking around, yet still a solid commit to Virginia, and no visits have been set at this time.

UVa also has his eyes on Troy Vincent Jr and Chibuzo Ukandu (recent offer from Tulane) along with sophomores Kai Locksley (offer from Maryland), son of Maryland offensive coordinator Mike Locksley, and sophomore safety Robert Branch (offer from Boston College).

Michigan commit Henry Poggi did not visit Texas AM despite rumors online. He is "still solid to Michigan," according to Gilman's coaching staff.

Michigan is showing strong interest in defensive end Melvin Keihn, who will start taking unofficial visits this winter. He has no favorites at this time, but did take an early trip to Morgantown for the West Virginia/Maryland game. Keihn most recently picked up an offer from North Carolina.

It should come as no surprise that Wisconsin is all over Troy Vincent Jr. Badgers' Bielema stopped by Gilman's practice a few weeks ago. Now that the season is complete, you can expect a visit from Vincent in the coming months.

Stay tuned.
