"The game was crazy, it went into overtime. I was surprised that all the fans still stayed since it went into overtime and they were down." The University School (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) standout spent time with all the coaches at Oklahoma, especially Head Coach Bob Stoops and Defensive Line Coach Jackie Shipp.
"(They were telling me) just how bad they want me, that I can make an impact my freshman year and stuff like that," he said.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound lineman said he could see a good opportunity for himself on the Sooners defense.
"They have a stacked defense. They're losing three d-linemen, so there won't be as many guys there next year," Bain said.
"It doesn't matter to me who is in front of me, I just want the best competition each day in practice."
While in Norman, Bain spent most of his time with several defensive tackles on the team.
"They were cool, they're so country because they're from Texas, and Stillwater, so it was different, it was funny for me. They're just clowns, they like to have fun," he said.
"LSU, Oklahoma, and Marshall are the big ones. I have no leaders right now," he said.
Miami and USC are also in the mix, but he's unsure about his other two officials. The Hurricanes have been in and out of the picture throughout his recruitment, but at this time, he's thinking he might want to get out of the Sunshine State.
"I want to get out of the state," he said. "Miami is still there, but I don't talk to them as much as I talk to others."
