on Sunday.
A person with knowledge of the fine tells The Associated Press that it was levied Wednesday, three days after Allen knocked Louis out for the season with a hit that injured Louis’ left knee. The person requested anonymity because the league has not announced the fine.

Antoine Winfield
. Louis didn’t see Allen coming, and his leg stuck in the turf on the hit and tore the ACL in his left knee. Several Bears, including coach Lovie Smith, said they thought the hit was unnecessary and dirty.
