DT Jeremy Patterson Profile
Patterson and Wayne County High School [Jesup] teammate Krenwick Sanders visited Clemson for the N.C. State game.
"It was very great. I had a good time seeing that crazy crowd and everything," Patterson told CUTigers recently.
He added, "It's just a good place to be."
Defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks spoke with the 6-foot-4, 260-pound prospect.
"He was just asking me how I was doing in school and that he's ready for me to come play for him, that kind of stuff like that," Patterson said.
Aside from the trip to Clemson, he's visited Alabama and Georgia this season. Patterson shared his thoughts on the three schools he visited this season.
Clemson: That's my first offer. It's a very good place to be. They stay on you to keep up with your schoolwork and stuff.
Alabama: Great facilities and everything was real nice.
Georgia: It's just a place I always wanted to be when I was a little kid. That's what I like.
Clemson remains Patterson's only offer. He believes the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs could be next. Missouri and Vanderbilt are also expressing interest.
As a sophomore, he had 40 tackles and two sacks.
