"When I went up there for a (unofficial) visit I liked the campus and everything. The facilities are great, and I really liked all the coaches. It just seemed like the right place."
Grogan had a super game this season against North Crowley as he helped Martin to a 47-7 win by hitting 6-of-6 field goals, including three from beyond 50 yards (56, 52 and 52).
"Yes sir, that had to be one of my best games ever," said the humble Grogan, who as evidenced has great range.
Grogan was 37-of-37 for PATs last season as a junior when he also connected on 13 field goals while sharing the kicking chores with current TCU kicker Jaden Oberkrom.
He is a prodigy of kicking intructor Scott Blanton, the former Oklahoma Sooner kicker. Grogan said he used to play soccer dut doesn't play anymore and will be involved in offseason conditioning this winter and spring.
Grogan becomes Oklahoma State's 19th verbal commitment to the 2013 recruiting class.
