Detroit Western International running back Romello Ross just finished a strong sophomore season, as evidenced by his being named to the Detroit Public School League All City Team. The rising 2015 prospect continued his award-winning ways Saturday when he was named running back MVP at the Detroit Maximum Exposure combine.
“I came just to have fun and play football,” said Ross regarding his performance.
“It’s just like they’re another person that’s out there lined up in front of me,” stated Ross regarding his highly ranked competition. “I’m just going to do what I can do to win. Do Better.”
Currently the Motor City star has no offers on the table, but word is starting to get out. One school that already knows about him is the University of Michigan. Ross camped in Ann Arbor this past summer. He plans to do so again this summer and will also playing for the Maximum Exposure 7-on-7. The last phase of his plan calls for him to check out more schools and camps.
When asked what he is looking for in a program, Ross said: “Good coaches and players that I can feel comfortable around.”
