Davin Bellamy will take an official visit to Virginia Tech on January 26, 2013.

Bellamy, who made his verbal commitment to Florida State in August, confirmed the solidarity of his decision just days ago when Defensive Ends Coach D.J. Eliot was named Defensive Coordinator at the University of Kentucky.

Bellamy has also expressed his desire to visit Missouri, although an official date has not yet been set. "Probably in January," Bellamy said in November.

Virginia Tech stopped by Bellamy's Chamblee High School (GA) on Thursday afternoon. Before leaving, Bellamy set a date for his official visit.

"I plan to take one to FSU, Mizzou and Virginia Tech for now," Bellamy explained. "I still have to figure out the other two.

"I feel like I have the right to take all five of my [official visits]," Bellamy said of his upcoming plans. "I've earned it."
