Guard Juwan Staten has an unenviable task in Saturday's game against Virginia Tech: attempting to defend the Hokies' Erick Green, who comes into the game as the nation's second-leading scorer at 24.9 points per game.

West Virginia has already faced three of the nation's top 35 scoring offenses (No. 35 Marshall, No. 12 VMI and No. 5 Gonzaga) but has another tough task ahead against Virginia Tech, which comes in ranked No. 3 nationally in that statistic.

If nothing else, the Mountaineers should be battle-tested, according to coach Bob Huggins, as the Gonzaga backcourt has similar skill and plays a similar style to the Hokies.

This is just another tough game in a long string of them, according to guard Jabarie Hinds, who said he is looking forward to the chance to play an undefeated opponent inside a sold-out Coliseum.
