Lightly recruited out of Mohave High School in Bullhead City, AZ, offensive tackle Josh Bruns headed to Glendale (Az.) Community College and now has accomplished his goal of becoming a division-one football player.
Bruns tells FoxSportsNext, "I committed to UMass today on my visit. The team, the coaches, the academics, everything is just great here. I feel like this is where I should be."
Bruns committed to the Minutemen over offers from Florida Atlantic, SE Missouri State and Idaho State.
Bruns started at right tackle in 2012 for the 8-3 and #17 ranked Gauchos. He was named 2nd team All-ACCAC.
Bruns (6-5 285) prepped at Mohave HS in Bullhead City, AZ. He was a qualifier out of high school, so he can leave at midyear. He will have three years to play two at the next level.
