One Trip Down, One Rescheduled

Latest in recruiting from Peoria (Ariz.) Sunrise Mountain WR Elroy Masters

Heading into this weekend Peoria (Az.) Sunrise Mountain wide receiver Elroy Masters was prepared to make two official visits, his first two. He was planning on visiting San Jose State starting Friday and then was going to piggy-back that with a trip to Nevada.

In attempts to make the weekend a little less hectic, Masters has rescheduled one of the visits. "I am actually going to take my trip to Nevada in January," he says.

Prior to his senior season, Masters was an unknown prospect. After a stellar senior season in which he caught 44 passes for 1,118 yards and 14 TDs, the offers started to pour in. Masters (6-2 200) now has offers from Colorado State, Navy, Nevada, Montana, San Jose State, NAU, Air Force and Wyoming.

Regarding his trip to SJSU, Masters says, "It was really really good. I loved it and loved the school. I loved the city and what the program is becoming."
