Logan might go on more officials

With his stock rising, North Carolina commit T.J. Logan (Greensboro, N.C.) is being recruited by several schools. Inside, Logan talks about UNC and the other schools he may visit before signing day.

Fresh off a memorable senior season at Northern Guilford High, North Carolina commit T.J. Logan is seeing his stock rise higher and higher.

The 5-11, 180-pound running back, had a record-breaking performance in Northern Guilford's win over Charlotte Catholic in the NCHSAA 3AA title game earlier this month.

Logan now owns the state record for the most rushing yards (510) and touchdowns (eight) in a state championship game.

Following his efforts, Logan was moved into the Scout Top 300 and named a four-star prospect.

"That's exciting, anytime someone gives you recognition that like, it's a really good feeling," said Logan.

Logan said his commitment to North Carolina is strong, but he may take a few official visits to other schools.

"It's important for me to see what other schools are like, so I know I made a good decision," he said.

Logan said he went to a basketball game at West Virginia this year and he'd like to go back to see more.

"I am probably going to take an official visit to West Virginia. My principal knows the whole coaching staff there and talks to me about them and the school," he said.

Logan isn't sure where else he might visit, but said Ohio State, Duke, NC State, and Clemson, are all recruiting him.

He said he plans to take an official visit to UNC on January 18th.

This week Logan is in Spartanburg, S.C., preparing for the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
