Live eval plus video: Jordan Scarlett

Here are video highlights of super sophomore Jordan Scarlett from Saturday's title game between Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) University School and Madison County.

At first glance you would never know that University School standout running back Jordan Scarlett is only a sophomore. He's a chiseled 5-foot-11 and 200-plus pounds. I mean this kid is a rock, with a thick and compact lower body. And he's the type of back that gets better with more carries.

This was certainly the case in the 3A state championship game this past Saturday when University School took on Madison County. He scored on a 14-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and finished with 18 carries for 73-yards.

This kid runs with tremendous power. Scarlett does a nice job of running behind his pads and keeping his legs driving. Scarlett is at his best between the tackles but can turn the corner with good speed. He is a no-nonsense, north-south back.

There's no question that Scarlett will be one of the most coveted recruits regardless of position in the country in the class of 2015.
