Nebraska has landed former 2012 four-star safety D.J. Singleton (St. Peter's Prep), a former Wisconsin Badgers signee. The former Semper Fi All-American sat out this fall, never enrolling at Wisconsin to work on some academic issues.
"Yes sir, I committed to Nebraska," said Singleton in a text message to Big Red Report and FOX Sports NEXT.
Singleton played a hybrid linebacker/safety position as a senior at St. Peter's Prep, and he made 53 tackles, including four sacks and 12 tackles for loss.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Singleton was the No. 14 safety in FOX Sports NEXT's 2012 class.
The New Jersey product has plans to enroll in January.
Big Red Report will have much more on the newest commitment tomorrow night, but will for now let him enjoy his official visit to Lincoln.
