Reynolds Names Favorites

While preparing for the Cal State Game in Visalia, Calif., defensive tackle Deonte Reynolds names two Pac-12 favorites.

VISALIA, Calif. -- Two-star defensive tackle Deonte Reynolds not only has a top two, but he now also has a frontrunner.

The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder out of Pinole (Calif.) Pinole Valley said at practice for Saturday's Cal State Game at the Mineral King Bowl in Visalia that both UCLA and Washington are sticking out for him.

"Washington likes my speed coming off the ball and they want me to play the five-technique on the line, and UCLA wants me to play the same thing," said Reynolds.

If he had to choose, Reynolds said that he would pick the Huskies as his favorites at the moment.

"I took an unofficial to Washington last spring, and I'm going to take both officials to Washington and UCLA in January," Reynolds said. "I always talk to Washington, and I talk with coach Angus [McClure] at UCLA every now and then."

Reynolds currently holds offers from the Huskies, Bruins, UNLV and Washington State.
