Recently Colorado Springs athlete Justin Miller has seen his recruiting interest grow. Named the top small school player by the Colorado Springs Gazette, the Classical Academy LB/FB boasts a skill set that has big schools interested.
Last week Miller made an official visit to the University of New Mexico and he is in contact with Georgia Southern, Cal-Poly, Gardner-Webb, Wyoming and Presbyterian.
Each of these schools is intrigued by Miller's combination of speed, athletic ability and versatility. As a linebacker, Miller averaged over 10 tackles a game this season. Offensively, this year and during his career, Miller was used situationally but he has shown the ability to get tough rush yards, block and make catches. At times Miller has worked from the slot and been a deep threat as a receiver.
Based on his diverse skill set Miller is being looked at on both sides of the ball at the college level. At the schools recruiting him Miller should be able to contribute early as a special team player.
