Chesapeake Bowl: Brandon Bell

Washington, DC - New Jersey linebacker Brandon Bell is one of three Penn State commits participating in this Saturday's Chesapeake Bowl.

Washington, DC - Brandon Bell has used his time at the Chesapeake Bowl to not only learn from coaches and improve his game, but also to get know his future teammates. "We have bonded. We ate breakfast at the same table before our practice yesterday, and we will continue to grow that bond," said Bell. Bell committed to Penn State back in June. "It was the place for me, the right feel, everything I wanted in a coaching staff, as far as the community and the fan support, he said. "They love football there, and it's the right feel."

Bell took his official visit Dec. 6 and has no plans to visit elsewhere before National Signing Day. "It was fun. I got a chance to bond with the guys on the team and the guys coming in with me."

As far as expectations for the linebacker next season, "I am looking to contribute a little on special teams and as linebacker."

Bell will join several Nittany Lions commits on the gridiron Saturday for the annual senior-only Chesapeake Bowl. Stay tuned fore more.
