O-D Bowl: Jerel Morrow

FOX Sports NEXT is Scout.com is on the scene in Houston for the 2012 Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. While there, we caught up with Emporia (KS) defensive back Jerel Morrow. He is an Oklahoma State commitment.

Getting a few techniques while working out at the O-D Bowl game in Houston, TX was something that Emporia (KS) defensive back Jerel Morrow wanted to do. Understanding that he needed to improve his overall game would be key, especially since he will be playing at the Big 12 Conference at Oklahoma State.

"It's not too far from home and the people and facilities are great. The coaching staff is top notch and I have a real connection with the coaches," Morrow said.

Working out with the other All-Americans will give the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Morrow is small glimpse into what it could be like once in Stillwater and playing a Division I schedule each week.

"It's great seeing the caliber of competition out here. Coming from being the best at your high school to coming out here and being the best is a big change," Morrow said. "It's great running out here with these guys. The main part of my game that I have been working on is my press technique and being disciplined. That's the key.

"I feel pretty good and I am holding my own. There is still more that I need to learn, but I am doing well."

Morrow is projected to play cornerback once he gets to Oklahoma State.
