Crull Commits

Kings (OH) senior Justin Crull feels like he's found his fit. Check out what the cornerback has to say about committing to Butler.

6-foot, 185 pound senior Justin Crull's final high school season started off rough until his team made a change.

"We started up 1-4, then they switched me from wide receiver to quarterback and we ended up winning five straight games."

Even though Crull played on offense most of the time, he was being recruited as a cornerback. In June, Crull was offered by Butler and ended up committing to the Bulldogs right before 2012 came to a close.

"It was a long process to make a decision. I visited Butler and really got a feeling that it was home. I talked to the coaches and players and they're real character guys. It's the type of place I want to be."

After holding the offer for half of the year, the CB felt now was the right time to commit.

"Things are winding down and Signing Day is getting close. Now that it's winter break I had a lot of time to talk with my family. I felt like I found my fit."

Crull also held offers from Valparaiso, Dayton and Emerson as well as walk-on opportunities at Purdue and Northwestern.

So what can Bulldog fans expect to see from Crull on the field?

"They can expect one competitive, hardworking and exciting young man playing for them. I'll be doing anything I can to bring a championship to Butler football."
