Shrine Bowl Game Film: Malcolm Means

Malcolm Means played very well in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. See him in action in this presentation by FOX Sports Next.

Malcolm Means was an under-the-radar recruit before he played in the Shrine Bowl a few weeks ago.

After playing extremely well in South Carolina's 23-19 win over North Carolina, the Richburg (S.C.) Lewisville defensive back has seen his stock rise.

Since the game, Means has picked up a scholarship offer from North Carolina State. He is also receiving interest from Louisiana-Lafayette, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina State, and Youngstown State.

Means had one of the best games of any prospect at the Shrine Bowl. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound safety showed the ability to play both the pass and run very well. He is a good athlete and covers a lot of ground in the secondary. Means also does a nice job reading his keys and puts himself in position to make plays. Overall, he must get stronger, but he has a chance to be a very good college football player.
