Ben Boulware Belongs in Orlando

With numerous top tier players everywhere you turn it's hard to stand out but that's exactly what Clemson linebacker commitment Ben Boulware has done.

Ben Boulware checks in from Anderson (SC) T.L. Hanna high School at 6'1 and 225-pounds and has been very impressive through two days of workouts at the ESPN UnderArmour All-America practices. The Scout.com team talked about what they see in Boulware.

Bill Greene

"He is really put together well. I think he is a guy that can play all three linebacker positions. he is smart, solid and always in the right place and is physical. When he gets his hands on the offensive player he always makes the tackle. I have not seen him in coverage a lot and would like to see him one on one in space but coming forward stopping the run he has been very impressive."

John Garcia, Junior

"Not only do I like his physical play in the box but he has been a leader of the defense since the first whistle of practice this week. I have watched him in coverage and he is instinctive in zone coverage but his strength is playing sideline to sideline and stuffing the run."

Jason Higdon

"I have watched Boulware extensively for two days and have been very impressed with his physical play. He shoots the gaps constantly and is always around the ball. He has good laterally movement and plays the game with fire and passion. He is not blessed with the size as some other players but more than makes up for it with his ability and work ethic."

Brandon Huffman

"From what I saw he is a real coachable player and the coaches gravitated to him and were giving him a lot of props. He is listening and working extra hard and putting in the work."

Chad Simmons

"Love his energy plays hard and I saw him in the Shrine bowl two weeks ago and he hits. I love his leadership. He is a fast energetic player."
