Green enjoying UA competition

Ryan Green missed his senior season because of a torn labrum he suffered during spring. Now, he's back on the football field one more time before graduating high school for the Under Armour All-American Game. The Florida State running back commitment is having a great time matching up against the nation's toughest competition.

Ryan Green said he's thrilled to be back out on the football field after missing his senior season.

"It's amazing," he said.

"It's a relief definitely, because I know I can play again, and I haven't lost any skill either, so that's a plus too.

The Florida State commitment has done plenty of elite camps including The Opening and Gridiron Kings, and he says practice this week for Under Armour has been the best of all.

"It's very competitive. Everybody's the same exact skill level, so technique is what separates certain people," he said.

"This is definitely top-notch, this is the best camp I've been to."

As always, there's plenty of recruiting going on behind the scenes at Under Armour. Green says he's been working on Florida commitment Alvin Bailey and undecided Leon McQuay, who will announce at the Under Armour Game. Green is often a target of many of his Gator commitment friends, but he says this week he's been doing the recruiting for FSU.

"I've been talking to a lot of Gators that are thinking about taking some more visits," Green said.

Alvin Bailey has been one he's worked on all week, but he isn't sure if it's working.

Green remains solid in his commitment to Florida State. He's looking forward to seeing who the new running backs will be and he's especially looking forward to his official to Tallahassee on January 25th.
