"I had a lot of fun during the week," Daniels said. "I enjoyed meeting the Marines , it was cool and I had a good time hanging out with the other players. I felt like I had a good week out there. I caught the ball well and used my size but I know you can always get better.
"I'm working hard in the off-season on my hips and getting quicker in and out of my breaks. I want to be a better route runner and more elusive. I'm not going to run track this year so I can just work out for football so I can be ready to go when I get to college next fall."
Daniels gave an early commitment last summer to Washington and said he's still very solid with the Huskies. He still plans to take one other official visit this month in addition to tripping to UW.
"I'm going to UCLA this weekend (Jan. 11)," Daniels said. "Angus McClure has been recruiting me for a while now and I have a really good relationship with him. UCLA was one of the first schools to offer me and I've never been there before so I want to go and check them out."
Daniels will take his official visit to Washington the following weekend and said he's excited about the Husky program.
"I'm a Dawg man, I can't wait to get there," Daniels said. "I love the future of the program and the direction things are going. I feel like most schools just talk about getting you to the NFL but with Washington, they talk about winning games, making you a better player and then hopefully going to the NFL.
"UCLA is like that too. It's a warm weather school that is close to home so I'm looking forward to visiting but Husky fans don't need to worry about me, I'm a Dawg and I'll be ready to go next fall."
