Irvin-Sills Set for SEC Visit

Jahmere Irvin-Sills committed to Auburn early, but elected to back off of the pledge as the 2012 season rolled on. This weekend the talented corner will take his first official visit when he tours Mississippi State. The Maryland product reports that the Bulldogs are a new name on his list of offers.

Jahmere Irvin-Sills profile

"My coach was out at the Under Armour game and he was talking with Tim Brewster," said Irvin-Sills. "My coach has been friends with him and my name came up in their conversation.

"Coach Brewster watched me film and told my coach that he wanted me.

"I am going down there Friday on an official visit.

"Kahliel Rodgers is going down there with me, but he's just on an unofficial visit.

"We're flying down there together."

The Bulldogs are probably not the last school that will get to play host to the Tri-State Christian Academy prospect over the course of the next few weeks.

"I haven't set up any other visits yet, but Clemson and Washington are talking with me about visiting there schools," said Irvin-Sills. "I am probably going to get all of that set up in the next few days."

The former Auburn pledge reports that he is in no hurry to close out his recruitment.

"I am not going to make a decision until just before signing day," said Irivn-Sills. "I might even wait until signing day.

"I want to take my time and take my visits, so I can be totally sure about everything.

"I don't want to rush into anything, so I am going to wait and decide late."
