London hungry for offers

Mardre London ended his junior season the best way possible – with a state championship win. The St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) running back is looking for his first offer and he's excited to get his recruitment going. Get the latest on the 2014 standout right here.

Mardre London enjoyed his junior season, but he's excited to step up next year as an even bigger contributor for his team.

"We won states, it was pretty good. I feel like I did good, I wish I would have had more things to do, but next year I should be the man, so we'll see how that goes next year," he said.

More than anything, he's excited to get his recruitment going and there are a couple of schools he plans on getting familiar with.

"I know the dead period just ended, so I'm looking forward to talking to South Carolina and Boston College – those are the main two right now," he said.

"I like South Carolina because they're in the SEC and big, and Boston College I just like the city that they're in."

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Arkansas native is hoping to hear from the Razorbacks, along with Tennessee, and his favorite school, Texas.

"Arkansas is my home and they like big backs, like Darren McFadden, so I just want to go there and be a part of that tradition," London said.

"Tennessee, same thing, they like big backs and they're in the SEC. I'm an SEC fan."

"Texas, that's my favorite school, I liked Vince Young when he was there, Ricky Williams, and all of them."

London believes he'll be able to contribute on the field to a college program.

"I like to run people over and I'm big and physical and fast, so I feel like I can do that at the next level too," he said.

This spring, he's hoping to see a few schools and compete in as many camps as possible. London's main goal is to earn an invite to The Opening.
