With 23 commits in the 2013 class already, how many more can Paul Chryst expect to take?

With less than four weeks until signing day, Paul Chryst is in good shape numbers wise with 23 prospects in his first full class.

Don't expect the Panthers to slow down just yet, in terms of recruiting.

Pitt lost out on Jaleel Hytchye last week, when he chose Kentucky over Pitt, Cincinnati, Tennessee and a few others. All eyes will be on Kentucky this week, and the state of Florida. JoJo Kemp and Blake McClain--who both visited Pittsburgh the me exact weekend (December 7-9) as Hytchye are heading to Kentucky this weekend.

In addition to waiting on word from Kemp and McClain's decisions, Pitt has a couple of other Florida prospects they're bringing in this weekend.

Nigel Harris, 6-1, 210 LB, Tampa, FL/Hillsborough
Harris also has a visit to Wake Forest set up for next weekend, but the Panthers get the first crack at him. Even though Pitt redshirted four freshman linebackers this past season, and the fact they're adding Matt Galambos and Luke Maclean to the mix in the 2013 class, why wouldn't you take on another from the Tampa area?

Harris had a pretty solid year on both sides of the ball this year. On offense, he rushed for 756 yards and 15 touchdowns. Defensively, he racked up 117 tackles and two sacks.

Brian Brown, 6-2, 185, Richmond, VA/Hermitage
Brown is looking at Pitt or Richmond at this point. He has good size for a corner, which is why the Panthers are interested in him. Brown may have been overlooked, but helping Hermitage--known for producing talent--to a 10- record this past season has to account for something.

Pitt is also expected to have some of its committed prospects such as James Conner and Zach Challingsworth in attendance. The prospects will be in attendance at the Pitt-Marquette basketball game, Saturday at noon.
