Hopson stays home

Carnell Hopson has been favoring Georgia State for a while and he committed to them on Saturday.

Carnell Hopson is a 6-foot-2, 240 pound defensive end out of Douglasville (Ga.) South Paulding and he committed to Georgia State.

Hopson also had offers from Jacksonville State, Southern Miss, and VMI among others.

He is a relentless edge rusher who was named Top Defensive Lineman at the MVP Camp in Valdosta, Ga. early in 2012.
