Three-star cornerback David Kamara has named his top four schools of interest.
Although Kamara had previously scheduled a trip to Baton Rouge on January 11th, the official visit had to be rescheduled due to LSU's Junior Day. Kamara now plans to officially visit on January 18th, followed by a trip to Ole Miss on January 25th.
"I haven't scheduled the other two yet, but I know Kentucky and Texas Tech want me to get out there, too," Kamara said of his remaining official visits. "I'd like to go to both if I could."
While Kamara holds offers from other major programs, he says that his top four favorites have recruited him the hardest lately.
"I'm still keeping an open mind, but those are my top four," Kamara said. "There's nobody else I'm waiting to hear from."
Since he hasn't yet taken an official visit, what will Kamara be looking for in order to make a commitment?
"I want to see where I stand on the depth chart with who's leaving and who's coming back," he explained. "I want to see how I feel on campus and how I bond with the coaches and players."
At 5-foot-11 and 183 pounds, the Grayson High School (GA) standout hopes to make an immediate impact on his future college team.
"I'm going to give 100% on every play," Kamara said. "I'll go all-out for the team. I'll be a leader."
Kamara plans to make his college announcement on National Signing Day.
