Turner Has Three In Mind

Copley (OH) speedster Aregeros Turner is back on the market after decommitting from Cincinnati last month. The tailback visited Kentucky this weekend, and has two more schools he'd like to check out.

Speedster Aregeros Turner recently completed an amazing career at Copley (OH), one in which he was a four-year starter and set several rushing records at the school.

Turner, 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, committed to Cincinnati last fall, but recently decommitted from the program following the resignation of current Tennessee head coach Butch Jones. Turner visited Kentucky this weekend officially.

"My visit was really good, and I had a great time at Kentucky going to a basketball game," Turner stated. "I did not commit to the coaches, but they knew I really liked everything there. They told me how much they want me, and how I could get on the field next year for them."

"I know they want me pretty bad, and they want me to play tailback for them," he added. "I like the way they plan to use me in their offense if I go there, and I think I would fit that system really well. They move their runningbacks all around, and that suits my game."

Two other schools are also high on Turner's list, and he hopes to visit both Tenneseee and Cincinnati in the coming weeks.

"I still need to finalize visits, but I'm planning on checking out both Tennessee and Cincinnati," he explained. "I think I need to meet with the new staff at Cincinnati, and give them a chance to talk with me. With Coach Jones now at Tennessee, I want to go see what they're all about as well. I've always been high on Tennessee."

"My plan right now is to go see Cincinnati next weekend, and then go to Tenneseee the following week, but neither of those visits are set up yet," Turner said.
