Lewis Hopes to Enroll Early

Parkview High School (GA) defensive back Bryce Lewis recently played in the Rising Seniors Game in Atlanta. Lewis' performance should lead to increased interest in the junior cornerback.

Profile - Bryce Lewis

Lewis had a strong game making 5 tackles and he had two pass deflections. "I had a really good game. I was told that the opposing offense started to stay away from my side of the field when I was in there."

Bryce currently holds two offers. Vanderbilt and Georgia State are the two schools that have offered. "I have talked with the Georgia Tech coaches and they say the staff really liked my junior film and they feel that an offer from Georgia Tech is just a formality at this point."

Duke is another school showing Lewis interest. "Right now Georgia Tech and Duke are recruiting me the hardest."

Now that his season is over, Lewis will begin to take some visits. "I know I will be going to Georgia Tech for sure." Bryce also plans to visit Duke in February and Vanderbilt in March. "Florida State will be coming up to visit me for my spring practice."

Lewis is looking to make his college choice at the beginning of his senior season. "I'd like to get it done soon. There is a good chance I can enroll early for college." Bryce will be taking two summer online classes to make that happen.

An important factor in making his decision will be the coaching staff. "I want a staff that looks at me as a person or a regular student and cares that I get a quality education." Bryce is also hoping to find a school that is close to home. "The Tennessee area would be about the most distance away from home I would go."
