Laremy Tunsil said he really enjoyed his visit to Alabama and his mother was also quite impressed.
"She loved the program, she sat down with Nick Saban and talked to him and that's the big thing in this recruiting process," he said.
Tunsil spent plenty of time in conversation with head coach Nick Saban and liked what he had to say.
"He said he needs me, he can put me at right tackle for a year then put me at left tackle since Cyrus (Kouandjio) is at left tackle and he'll probably go to the draft after his junior year," he said.
The Columbia (Lake City) standout said Coach Pruitt leaving Alabama does effect him, but not too much. "It did (hurt), but it's business, so I have to get over it," Tunsil said.
Georgia is next on Tunsil's visit list and his mom will go with him there too.
"I've been to Georgia twice but I haven't seen the main things like the campus," he said.
"I just want to see how the campus life is and the environment and stuff like that."
"I've been saying this since my sophomore year, it's the relationship (with the coaches) and the environment," he said.
Tunsil's mom will also play a factor in his decision and he says a strong education is most important to her.
"It's a big factor, but (the decision) does come back to me."
