Any Takers for Jones?

East Central QB Christian Jones Wants Good News

FOX Sports NEXT has an update with East Central quarterback Christian Jones from San Antonio, Texas. He is still looking a great fit to play college football.

Oklahoma, Nevada and Mississippi State checked in at one time during the process. He even went up to Norman, OK and impressed. But in the end, San Antonio (TX) East Central quarterback Christian Jones is still in a position where he is looking for somewhere to land.

Even with his one offer from ULL, that too has past as well.

"Nothing really is going on right now. Houston is still kind of talking with me and Abilene Christian (D2) came down. UH is talking with me about being a slot wide receiver or an H-Back," Jones said. "With ULL, there are no more scholarships available. The coaches said that if something opens up then I can join."

Playing in a run-first offense , the 6-foot-4, 220 pounds has still not found out what is the next step for him as far as the process goes. So for now, things are wide open as Jones is in a holding pattern for programs to reach out and show interest.
