"It's been kind of the same old, same old. I've been talking with a lot of different coaches here and there. I'm high on Oregon State and I've also been talking with Utah a lot lately, so those are the main two right now. I'm just finishing up these All-Star Games and see what I can get after that," he said.
Both programs are schools in which Talifero is interested and he's hoping for an opportunity to take visits to both Corvalis and Salt Lake City.
"Utah has been on me since my sophomore season, but with my switching schools, it's kind of been on and off. I've been talking with Coach [Rod] Perry at Oregon State, so I'm trying to see what can happen," he said.
The 6-foot, 220-pound prospect is also hearing from San Jose State and Eastern Washington, as well as a few smaller programs, and though he hasn't taken any of his official visits, he's definitely planning on it.
"If not this month, then early next month. I'm still trying to figure everything out," he said.
