Carter becomes a Husker

Archbishop Rummel senior Cethan Carter committed to Nebraska on Thursday night.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers filled a major position of need on Thursday night when they added three-star prospect Cethan Carter to the commitment list.

"Finally committed to Nebraska baby! Thank God! #GBR," Carter tweeted from his personal Twitter account.

The Archbishop Rummel tight end is actually rated the No. 7 fullback in the country by FOX Sports NEXT.

According to reports, Carter hosted Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini at his school today, this after visiting Nebraska this past weekend.

"Coach Pelini is the real deal. I enjoyed talking with him. The coaches talked about how they're going to use me," Carter told FOX Sports NEXT's Mike Coppage on Monday after his visit. "It's not just as a blocking tight end. They're going to flex me out at receiver and want to get the ball in my hands."

More to come on Carter in the coming days.
