Cochran recaps visit to Cal

Atwater (Calif.) Buhach Colony offensive lineman Aaron Cochran took his official visit to Cal this weekend and said he'll make his decision sometime next week.

Aaron Cochran took his 4th and final official visit this weekend to California after earlier taking trips to Arizona, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

"I had a good time at Cal, I've been there before and I'm really familiar and comfortable with everything," Cochran said. "My brother Matt hosted me and I already know a lot of the players on the team. Like I said, I've been there before so I have a great feel for the campus and the dorm life.

"The biggest highlights were probably meeting the new staff and going to the stadium and looking around at everything. There is so much to do at Cal, it's in California, close to home and the education is as good as you're going to see. That's probably the thing that sticks out most to me about Cal is the academics, the opportunities after football the school provides really stand out to me."

Cochran said he already has a good idea of what he wants to do and should be making his decision over the next few days.

"I just want to talk with my family first," Cochran said. "I think I know what I'm doing go to do but just want to sleep on it for a few nights first, talk to some more people about it and then I'll think I'll be ready to make a commitment somewhere. It should be pretty soon though, I'm pretty close."
