DT Commits to UTSA

Larry Coker and the UTSA coaching staff sealed the deal over the weekend securing 3 commits to the 2013 recruiting class. The first of which was defensive tackle Anthony Lee from Fort Bend. IRS has the full update on Lee's commitment.

On Saturday afternoon, Anthony Lee had seen all that he had needed to see. The 6'1" 275lb defensive tackle from Missouri City told Larry Coker he wanted to become a utsa Roadrunner.

"I met the coaches, met the players, and saw the campus," said Lee. "The coaches are great. The whole experience was great."

Lee's recruitment was relatively quiet compared to other visitors from the weekend. He was recently recruited by New Mexico, Stephen F Austin, and Incarnate Word. Lee is a solid commit to UTSA and does not have any other visits scheduled.

"I'm solidly committed to UTSA," said Lee.

Lee is a run stopping defensive tackle that can make plays. In 2012, he recorded 65 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks. But also he's worked on his quickness and technique to make him an overall better player and in 2012 slimmed down from 305lbs to 275lbs.
